2008 MLB Constitution amendment mis-cataloged under 2005 filename — RESOLVED Pass B

The original discrepancy

The file was named 2005_constitution_mlb-constitution-2005-update.md, but the metadata date field was "2008-03" with date_precision: "month". The filename used year-precision 2005 while the document was actually the post-2005 amendment from March 2008 (which expires Dec 31, 2012 by its own terms).

The "update" framing in the slug was also misleading: the file isn't the original 2005 update — it's a later post-2005 amendment that supersedes the 2005 version. A separate metadata file documents/governance/2005-06_constitution_mlb-constitution-true-2005-update.md exists for the actual 2005 update.

INDEX.md and WANTLIST.md both acknowledged this mis-catalog: WANTLIST said "MLB Constitution post-2005 amendment ~2008 — needs_review 2026-05-17; from UNH IP Mall, previously mis-cataloged as 2005 update."

Resolution (Pass B, 2026-05-19)

The file was renamed: 2005_constitution_mlb-constitution-2005-update.md → 2008-03_constitution_mlb-constitution-post-2005-amendment.md. Both the date prefix and the slug body were changed (slug body now correctly describes the document as a "post-2005-amendment" rather than a "2005-update"). Paired .pdf renamed in tandem. The old filename is preserved in file.previous_filenames. INDEX.md, WANTLIST.md, and related_documents references across the archive were updated to the new slug.

This was the largest rename in the Pass B batch — both date prefix AND slug changed. Other Pass B renames only adjusted the date prefix.
