MLB's motion to terminate the Dodgers' (debtors') exclusive period to file a plan of reorganization under 11 U.S.C. § 1121(d). Filed the same day as MLB's motion to disqualify McCourt. Terminating exclusivity would have allowed MLB (or other creditors) to file a competing plan of reorganization — typically one that would force a sale of the team to a new owner. The combined pressure of this motion plus the DQ motion drove McCourt to negotiate the November 2011 settlement to sell.
